Batman and Robin, Mulder and Scully… everyone likes a good partnership.
Microsoft partnered with BigCommerce—one of the biggest e-commerce platforms—to launch a new marketplace called Ads and Listings.
New year, new duo: The collaboration should help BigCommerce merchants directly integrate their stores with the Microsoft Ads Network and “reach highly motivated buyers.”
That means syncing product catalogs with Microsoft’s Merchant Center, and creating, managing, and tracking shopping campaigns without leaving BigCommerce. Nice.
Where’s it available: The integration is currently available to merchants in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, with no expansion predictions or forecasts. Yet.
Why we care: This partnership seems like a big boost for marketers using one or both of these platforms.
Microsoft is expecting an ad money windfall, and store owners and advertisers have the opportunity to promote their products to hundreds of millions of potential customers.
Seems like a good partnership indeed.
